Wow, crazy Thanksgiving Break! Spending about 6 or 7 hours in a tiny and very, VERY cramped car DEFFINANTLY wasn’t a favorite. While the destination was great and I had a lot of fun, the ride was Horrible! Anyway, I also went to a Renasaince Faire and that was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!! Other than that nothing important has happened since my last update.

I moved to Texas a couple of months ago and into a new house a couple of weeks ago, but i haven’t been able to get on my PC much beacuse i have been through 3 hurricanes and two evacuations since i moved here. Oh and my mother got married right before one evacuation. She and her husband swore not to invite hurricanes to anything anymore. They just don’t make very good party guests for some reason. Sorry about the lack of pictures, I don’t have any of the new house or of my mom’s wedding yet. She seems reluctant to let the get copied or anything.

I got a new puppy a few weeks ago!

Oh, and sry for the lack of posts.

The puppy is about 10 weeks old, female, Jack Russel Terrior, and her name is Corkey!

She is absolutely adorable

Stephen Flanoid was found dead this morning. Though I did not know him well, I join in mourning –and offer my condolences to — with everyone who knew him.

I read about this guy who was assinated. The wierd part is how the people killed him. They sealed him in a barrel full of wine. He only had about an inch between the wine and the top of the barrel.

The Word

A word is a powerful thing. One uses words every day, but does one ever take the time to realize just how important words are to one? One cant even thank words with out using them. Words are a diverse culture of their own. Words also can be very confusing. Take the words ‘cargo’ and ‘shipment’ for example. ‘Cargo’ is transported by ship, and a ‘shipment’ is transported by a car or truck.

Some words are even spelled the same forwards as they are backwords. “racecar” for exampel RaceCar and raCecaR.

What word do you find intriguing?

Did you know that the phrase “cogito ergo sum”, which is printed on all of our coinage, means “one of many” or something to that effect?

Did you know that Eddings and Tolkien are considered “classic” writers? I don’t know why but I never thought of them as “classics”.

Normally I write a lot in my posts, but I really havent had that much to say recentally.

Congratulations to the winners of the Poetry Out Loud contest. My aunt participated, and she was the only person that i could hear clearly so I was rather supprised when she didn’t win.

Well, That’s all I can think of for now so have fun!!!
